Colson Fellows

Worldview · Civic Life · Theology · Humanities

You've been trained to think Christianly about everything. CHI gives you a community to build that with.

For You

The Colson Center spent years shaping your thinking about culture, civic life, law, and public theology. You understand that Christian faithfulness is not a private affair — it has public consequences, civic obligations, and cultural implications. You know how to help people connect their faith to the work they do and the place they live.

What CHI offers is an institutional home for that conviction: a Hall where those students are in front of you, in your town, for years.

The Work

A Colson-fluent Hall takes the worldview formation you carry and puts it inside a community of students who will become the lawyers, administrators, pastors, and civic leaders of their specific places. You are not running a seminar. You are forming people who will govern, serve, and lead where they live for the next forty years.

What CHI Provides

Colson-fluent Halls run as Law Schools, Theological Seminaries, or Classical Honors Colleges. CHI provides political science and government programs through WTAMU and HCU, theological studies through Gordon-Conwell and Grace School of Theology.

Three Ways to Engage

Start a Hall

You are Colson-trained, you have roots in a community, and you have the capacity to build. The Hall Founder pathway walks you from vision to operating charter.

Become a Tutor

You are Colson-trained and want to teach in a Hall someone else is building. CHI connects tutors to Halls in their region that need your particular formation background.

Become a Field Guide

You have spent years — perhaps a decade, perhaps a lifetime — in this work, and you have relational credibility in a specific geography. Field Guides shepherd 15–20 Halls in their region: coaching Directors in worldview formation, carrying Colson culture into the Halls that can use it, holding the long view. The role is vocational, not contracted. Primary income from elsewhere is a prerequisite.
