A residential and commuter Hall on the Patriot Academy campus, opening January 2027 — forming the next generation of American civic leaders in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Hill Country Patriot Hall is the first Hall in the Patriot Halls network. It sits on the Patriot Academy campus in Fredericksburg, Texas, where the Leadership Congress, the Constitutional Defense Course, and the Constitution Coaches network have been at work for years.
Hill Country offers the shared starter curriculum across all Patriot Halls — the Bachelor of Applied Political Science and the Campaign Nucleus Certification — and adds the Patriot Institute, a 9-month residential formation program led by Dean Krish Dhanam, available only at this Hall.
Future Patriot Halls share the same starter curriculum and grow into their own additional offerings as their place and capacity allow. Each Hall is its own expression of the model in its own community — peer Halls, not branches.
The shared Patriot Halls curriculum plus the Patriot Institute, available only at the Patriot Academy campus.
A degree built for the leaders, staffers, and citizen-scholars who will rebuild American civic life from their own communities. The Campaign Nucleus certification is integrated into the degree.
The applied core of the B.A.P.S., offered as a self-contained one-year certification for working operatives and staffers who need the credential without the full degree path.
A residential formation program on the Patriot Academy campus. Worldview, constitutional literacy, communications, leadership, and life-skills formation — taught by senior practitioners under the direction of Dean Krish Dhanam.
Additional degree pathways and a commuter course catalog are in development for Hill Country specifically. Programs are added once they are vetted by Christian Halls International and Southeastern University.
The Patriot Institute is the residential formation engine on the Patriot Academy campus. From September through May, scholars live in the Patriot Cottages and undertake a year of worldview formation, constitutional literacy, communications training, leadership formation, and life-skills development.
The Institute is led by Dean Krish Dhanam, with Rick Green leading the Biblical citizenship and Constitution track and Joseph Backholm directing the Applied Political Science and Campaign Nucleus work.
Each course is taught onsite. Students electing college credit receive the course as an SEU equivalent inside the B.A.P.S.
The campus in Fredericksburg has been operating as the home of Patriot Academy's Leadership Congress, Constitutional Defense Course, and Constitution Coaches network for years. Hill Country Patriot Hall extends that work into a residential degree-granting Hall — the same campus, deeper formation.
Students live in the Patriot Cottages, take classes in the campus's existing academic buildings, and participate in the live legislative simulations of the Leadership Congress as part of their coursework.
Fredericksburg sits in the heart of the Texas Hill Country — a region rich in civic and historical depth, surrounded by the kind of community fabric that civic formation is for. The town's small-city scale, its proximity to Austin and San Antonio, and the campus's setting give students a place to be formed without the distractions of a major metro.
As other Halls come online in the broader Central Texas region — across different sectors and affinity networks — they will appear here as allied co-laborers in this place.
Krish leads the worldview, apologetics, moral philosophy, and communications core of the residential Patriot Institute.
Rick leads the Biblical citizenship and Constitution track at the Institute and serves as host of the Patriot Academy campus.

Patriot Halls focuses on civic leadership and statesmanship. The Hall shares that mission, and also co-labors in this place with any other Halls — across different sectors and affinity networks — forming people for the flourishing of the same community.
